SUN is our closest star and gives us light and warmth. Suns ray travel from Sun to the Earth for 8 minutes. Distance from sun to earth is 93,000,000 miles.

Pollution causes less clear, more cloudy and foggy air, and therefore prevents sun rays reaching the earth.

SOLAR ENERGY is  electrical  or  thermal energy  acquired by converting  sun’s rays into electricity or heat, with the use of solar panels or thermal collectors to supply electrical power, or warming water in our homes.
